Course Information
Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) was created by the U.S. Department of Defense Committee on TCCC (Co-TCCC) to teach evidence-based, life-saving techniques and strategies for providing the best trauma care on the battlefield. NAEMT conducts TCCC courses as specified by the Co-TCCC's guidelines and curriculum.
TCCC-MP (TCCC for Medical Personnel) is a 2-day classroom course for military medical personnel including medics, corpsmen, and pararescue personnel deploying in support of combat operations.

Introduction to TCCC / Care Under Fire / Introduction to TFC / Massive Haemorrhage / Airway / Respiration / Bleeding / Circulation - Shock - IVIO - TXA - Fluid Resuscitation / Hypothermia Prevention / Penetrating Eye Trauma / Monitoring and Triple-Option Analgesia / Antibiotics and Wound Care / Burns and Fractures / Communication, Evacuation Priorities and CPR / Documentation of Care / Preparing for Casualty Evacuation and Key Points / CCP Operations and Wounded Hostile Combatants / Convoy IED Scenario / Tactical Evacuation Care / Critical Decision Case Studies / TCCC Scenarios / Direct from the Battlefield.
Assessment & Certification
Course assessments include:
- Multiple Practical Assessments.
Upon successful completion of this course individuals will receive a NAEMT TCCC-MP certificate.
Entry Requirements
Individuals applying for TCCC-MP should be military medical personnel including: medics, corpsmen, and pararescue personnel deploying in support of combat operations. There are no other formal entry requirements but to benefit from the learning we advise that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy or numeracy or equivalent.
Location
We are able to deliver our TCCC-MP course on your premises (subject to a pre-course assessment) to reduce the costs associated with taking time out and travelling.
